cyprus 15 april

Vandaag sta ik iets later op dan de voorbije dagen. Ik ben nog slaperig doordat ik geen geweldige nachtrust achter de rug heb door papa zijn gesnurk. Morgen ga ik op zoek naar oordopjes!
Nog snel een tasje koffie, maar ik moet wel een beetje opschieten. Doordat mama en papa vandaag niet de richting van de haven gaan, moet ik met de bus naar Shoham.

Op de bus zie ik de Belgen zitten, samen met de ouders van Lynn. Zij gaan vandaag het stagebedrijf een bezoekje brengen.
Ik stap een halte vroeger af dan normaal zodat ik nog een kleine ochtendwandeling kan maken voor ik er weer invlieg.

Op het kantoor ziet het er kalm uit op het eerste gezicht. Niet veel telefoongerinkel en amper 10 mails die op me wachten. Ik kijk alles na en check ook mijn persoonlijke mail en die van de school.

Ineens telefoongerinkel…Mama… Ze belt me om te vragen of ik een winkel weet te vinden voor een nieuw fototoestel omdat het vorig de geest heeft gegeven. Ik en Christos zoeken samen uit wat voor hen de dichtstbijzijnde winkel is met voldoende keuze aan merken. Een half uurtje later bel ik hen terug op, maar het blijkt al niet meer nodig te zijn; ze hebben er al één gekocht. Al dat opzoekwerk voor niets …

Na de middag is er absoluut geen leven meer in de brouwerij. Christos loopt er niet al te goedgezind bij en de rest van het personeel zou ook liever aan het strand zitten, heb ik zo de indruk.
Ik kan er wel inkomen hoor. Warm weer en dan een hele dag voor die pc; dat is ook niet echt hét leukste om je dag mee door te brengen.

17.00h: weer naar huis met de bus. Ik kijk al uit naar morgen. Mama en papa komen me oppikken rond lunchtijd morgenmiddag. Ze komen een bezoekje brengen aan Shoham en de collega’s. Omdat ik morgen de namiddag vrijaf heb, gaan we samen naar Afrodites Rock in de omgeving van Paphos.

Thuis ruikt het overheerlijk! Mmmm witloof met ham en kaassaus! Dank u mama en papa! Na het eten skypen we nog wat met mijn zusje (Jolein). Die zit namelijk alleen thuis en we willen toch graag weten of het huis nog recht staat, hihi…

Morgen ben ik er weer met meer informatie en foto’s. Tot dan…

Today I wake up a little later than previous days. I am sleepy because I did not sleep so well due to my dad’s snoring. Tomorrow I’m going to look for ear buds! Just a quick cup of coffee, but I have to hurry a bit. Because mom and dad are not going the direction of the port today, I take the bus to Shoham.

On the bus I see the Belgians again, together with the parents of Lynn. They are visiting the company today. I get off at an earlier stop than normal, so I have a small morning walk before I start working again.

At the office it looks calm at first sight. Not many phone jangle and only 10 mails waiting for me. I check everything and check my personal mail and also the one from school.

Suddenly phone jangle ... Mom ... They call me to ask if I know a store to find a new camera because the last one broke down. Christos and I search for them the nearest shop with the biggest choice of brands. A half hour later I call them back, but it seems no longer necessary, they already have bought one. All that research for nothing...

In the afternoon, there is absolutely no life in the brewery. Christos is not too favorable, and the rest of the staff would prefer to sit on the beach. I can understand this one. Warm weather and a whole day on your PC, which is not really the nicest way to spend your day.

17.00h: I go home by bus. I look forward to tomorrow. Mom and Dad come to pick me up around lunch time tomorrow afternoon. They are visiting Shoham and my colleagues. Since I have the afternoon off tomorrow, we are going together to Afrodites Rock in the vicinity of Paphos.

At home it smells delicious! Mmmm chicory with ham and cheese sauce! Thank you Mom and Dad! After dinner we skype some with my sister (Jolein). She’s home alone these days, and we’re just checking if the house is still standing, hihi…

Tomorrow I am back with more information and photos. Until then...
