Uitgeslapen tot 10.00h vandaag. Het was nodig.

Ik ruim wat op in het appartement en maak me klaar voor een strandwandeling. Wat fruit mee en een flesje water en ik ben weg. Het is zonnig vandaag, maar al snel komen er wolken opzetten. Er trekt mist over de zee naar het binnenland. Je ziet de schepen liggen in een wazige achtergrond.

Maar de zeelucht doet deugd. Een frisse neus halen, zoals veel Cyprioten doen, is de beste manier om de dag in te zetten. Eens een uurtje gewandeld ga ik langs de bakker voor mijn traditionele ontbijt: Chocolade croissants… overheerlijk!

Op het appartement doe ik nog snel de afwas voordat Maria aan mijn deur staat om te gaan lunchen. Mijn gsm gaat… Maria belt me om te zeggen dat ze later gaat zijn… had ik het niet verwacht J. Eindelijk is ze er dan.

We gaan lunchen in een zaak genaamd ‘Brewery’. Super gezellig en een terras vol comfortabele zeteltjes. Maria stelt me voor aan een van haar vriendinnen; Vasso. Een toffe, vlotte en ook gekke meid. Na de lunch gaan we nog even shoppen in het stadscentrum van Limassol, maar veel kopen we niet. Ik enkel een jeansbroek en Maria een paar leuke truitjes.

Maria zet me thuis terug af rond 19.00h, want ze moet om 21.00h al beginnen te werken op haar weekendwerk. Een danscafé genaamd Graffity. Vasso wil me er vandaag mee naartoe nemen. Natuurlijk ga ik akkoord, een avondje op stap kan ik niet weigeren.

Eens thuis, nog snel wat skypen en eten. Ik tut me op en weg zijn we…

Slept until 10.00 today. I needed that.

I clean up the apartment and make me ready for a walk at the beach. Some fruit and a bottle of water and I'm gone. It is sunny today, but soon there will be clouds in the sky. A certain fog mantles the sea and the inland. You see the ships lie in a blurred background.

But the sea is virtue. Getting some fresh air, as many Cypriots do is the best way to start the day. After one hour, I walk past the bakery for my traditional breakfast: chocolate croissants ... delicious! At the apartment, I quickly to my dishes before Mary will be ringing my doorbell. One phone call is ... it is Maria to tell me that she will be a bit later ... I expected that… Finally she arrives.

We go to lunch at a place called "Brewery." Super cozy and a terrace with comfortable seats. Maria introduces me to one of her friends, Vasso. A nice, easy-going and crazy girl. After lunch we just go shopping in the city center of Limassol, but we do not buy much. I only bought a jeans and Maria some nice blouses.

Maria drops me at the apartment around 19:00, because she has to start working @ Graffity around 21.00h. Vasso (the friend of Maria) wants to take me there. Of course I agree, a night out I cannot refuse.

Once at home, I skype some more and I eat something. I put some make up on and some fancy clothes and here we go...
